The Jackson Anchor Initiative is implementing a new advertising campaign, “Get to Know Jack”, as an awareness tool for promoting Downtown Jackson. The campaign will target people age 25-34 in metro areas surrounding Jackson, including Ann Arbor and Lansing. The advertisements are intended to talk up the business and entertainment strengths of Downtown Jackson. In addition to online display and internet radio ads, the campaign includes a new website, “SeeJackNow.com“.
Anchor Initiative CEO Mindy Bradish-Orta hopes to educate people entering the job market from surrounding areas about the vibrancy and excitement of the urban core of Downtown Jackson.
The campaign includes a new retro-style logo. The gears in the logo are a nod to the heritage of Jackson’s manufacturing history and its future of innovation.
